New Features in v2.0

Since v2.0 , Zero ad is not only a pop-up killer and flash banner stopper . It's a personal advert eliminator. And we will add more powerful features in future version.

 You can find a new menu "Specail Ads" in title bar . Check the option means this kind of ads will be killed , otherwise that kind of ads will be allowed .

1. IP Windows Messenger Service:

Do you get pop-up messages like this one?

Take note of the title bar, the first line and the fact that it only "flat text", with just an "OK" button.

Out of the box, Microsoft Windows NT, 2000, and XP systems allow anyone on the network to pop up messages like this on your screen. You do not need to be running any web, email, or instant messaging software. It has nothing to do with MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, or any other application. There is no need for the sender to know anything about your computer and your computer doesn't care who does it. In recent incidents, people have used this capability to spread SPAM messages like the ones above.

      ICQ will popup the window as below every time when starting.

      There are two advert banner in ICQ chat client. One is small , on the top of client . Another is large , on the bottom of message session window. ZeroAd can eliminate these two advert banners, supoort both ICQ Lite and ICQ pro 2003 .

Faster Guide:

1. General Option 

   Three action levels.

   High    : Kill all pop-ups , disable ad filter.

   Middle : Allow pop-ups from user's click and enable ad filter. 

   Low     : set the sensitivity of ad filter to low , allow more pop-ups. 

     Enable or disable flash banner. This function will kill all flash on the web .

     If this option is selected , Zero ad will autorun when windows start up.

  2. Hot Key

         When you hold 'Ctrl' key , Zero Ad will allow all the pop-ups.

         When you hold 'Alt' key , Zero ad will kill any pop-ups.

  3. Notification

      Notification when Zero Ad kills pop-ups and flash ads.

      Enable or disable sound effect .

      Twenty two lovely sounds you can choose;

      Enable or disable play animation in tray icon.

  4. Style

   Zero ad has five smart form style . Click here to see.

  5. Select browser:

    Zero Ad now support four internet browsers , In this menu , please choose the browsers you are using. If the browser is unselected , the pop-ups and flash ads in it  would not be detected and killed .

  6. Special Ads:

   Zero Ad v2.0 has ability to kill more special ads . In this menu , if the option is checked  , that kind of ads would be killed .
